Overview


The Committee is committed to the research and practice of sustainable development;to provide a broadened global vision of ecological environment, financial order and moral culture; and through international exchanges as well as collaborations in eco-community, healthcare and epidemic prevention, energy technology and cultural & creativity, we actively promote sustainable development of eco-civilization reflected by harmonious co-existence between men as well as human and nature.

The Committee positioned itself as a platform for Chinese and international think tanks to build connections with one another, and it is also a cultivation centre for identified talented doers.

Since 2005, the Committee's development is divided into three phases:

  Phase 1 (2005 to 2009): To disseminate and carry forward the values of sustainable development based on the theme “Sustainable Development”.

  Phase 2 (2010 to 2014): With “Disaster Prevention, Disaster Relief and Sustainable Development” as the main theme and “Hanwang Forum” the platform, the objective is to propel project of “Hanwang 7+1”.

  Phase 3 (2015 to 2019): With “Reconstruction of Environment, Ethics, and Economy” as the theme, the constitution of “World Environmental Reconstruction Organization” is envisioned to fully raise the efficiency of global disaster prevention, disaster relief and sustainable development.
