From May 5th to 7th, 2018, On the Threshold of the Next Evolution - Exploration and Practice towards the Common Destiny of Humankind International Forum was held in Century City International Conference Center, Chengdu, Sichuan Province.

This event was collectively hosted by Beijing International Exchange Association, Sichuan Enterprise Confederation, Aurora Borealis Foundation, Promotion Association of Global Youth Innovation Leaders Community(PILC) and the Investment and Financing Committee of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China and was co-organized by SDC and Freedonia Tong Tao.

Over 200 government officials, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from China, Sweden, Finland, UK, Spain, Singapore and Maylasia attended the forum, and conducted in depth discussion on the practical ways to promote the common destiny of humankind through topics of youth leaders and innovation, rural vitalization and green development, block chain and the future civilization, Tao and culture as well as disaster response and the opportunity for human evolution. The memorial ceremony to the 10th anniversary of Sichuan Earthquake was also a part of the event agenda.
