On May 10th 2018, Chairman Liu Wei of Beijing International Exchange Association Sustainable Development Committee(SDC) and former General-Secretary Wang Wei, along with Alwin van der Linde, Cultural Envoy of Extremadura of Spain to China, President of Van der Linde Foundation and International Expert of Xi'an, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Ambassador Alberto Carnero at the Embassy of Spain in Beijing.
Together as important cooperative partners to each other, SDC and Vander Linde Foundation have collectively held several influential cultural exchange events in both China and Spain, including the Joint Photography and Oil Painting Exhibition with General Shao Hua in 2008, Huangshan Collection: Alwin Van der Linde Solo Exhibition in 2010, and Belleza China-Esapaña: Exposición colectiva de pinturas de Liu Dawei Y Alwin Van Der Linde in 2013.
2018 marks the 45th anniversary of China-Spain diplomatic ties. And with an invitation from Xi’an Municipal Government, Mr. Linde will jointly organize a thematic cultural event with local artists from Xi'an in November. SDC will fully support the preparation and implementation of this event.
H.E. Ambassador Carnero expressed his support and expectation of the upcoming event in November and highly praised the unremitting effort of Mr. Linde and SDC to the cultural exchange between China and Spain.
