Seminar on the Inheritance of Innovation of Ethnic Crafts and Skills Successfully Held in Beijing

The Seminar on the Inheritance of Innovation of Ethnic Crafts and Skills was successfully held on September 1, 2021 at the PuXuan Hotel in Beijing. It was co-hosted by Beijing International Exchange Association Sustainable Development Committee (SDC) and the International Science Exchange Foundation of China (ISEFC), themed on the sustainable development of Chinese traditional handicraft in the modern era and aimed to create more opportunities for their global marketing.


Experts discussing on the potential of cooperation 

The participating experts were introduced to the current development of national crafts in China and the history of the Italian Fashion Chamber of Commerce, sharing thoughts on possible ways to facilitate the sustainable fashion economy by combining the heritage of China's national handicrafts with the international fashion brands。 

Exchanges and discussions on the topics of giving full play to the scientific, art and intellectual resources of ISEFC and SDC were carried out, through which an agreement on establishing a special fund to support talented designers has been reached.
