Symposium on Rural Revitalization through Joint Efforts of Veterans and Locals Held at Noble Garden

Rural revitalization aims to consolidate the achievements of poverty eradication through rural economic development, rural governance improvement and ecological civilization construction. And it is an important step to the success of China’s Five-sphere Integrated Plan, as long as a key factor to resolve much challenge in China.

Rural revitalization needs everyone of us to engage. Promoting rural revitalization is a mission and responsibility that needs all people to shoulder, especially the veterans and social entrepreneurs. Veterans are innovative and well-trained in politics and discipline, and they have a important role to play in rural revitalization.

On June 6, 2021, the Symposium on Rural Revitalization through the Joint Efforts of Veterans and Locals, sponsored by BJ-SDC and New Life Town, was held at the Noble Garden in Chengdu as well as on a livestreaming platform, opening a high-level dialogue on rural revitalization.

During the symposium, the guests expressed their opinion and suggestion concerning rural revitalization through veterans and locals from such five aspects as industrial, ecological, talent, cultural and organizational revival. Besides, they also had in-depth discussion on how to connect the whole industrial chain for rural development, and how to build a platform to integrate regional urbanization and rural development through industrial, financial and digital ecosystems.

This symposium was not only a vivid theoretical class about rural revitalization, but also an opportunity to stimulate the creativity of all attendees, motivate people to act, providing new perspectives and connection for efficient cooperation. Rural revitalization needs our solid steps and actions.
