Online moments
On January 23, 2021, BJ-SDC held its 2020 annual meeting online with nearly a hundred members attended. On the meeting, we reviewed the achievements BJ-SDC had made in 2020 and conveyed the vision about the work in 2021.
In 2020, the outbreak of covid-19 brought an unprecedented impact on global exchanges and cooperation. Against the backdrop of covid-19, BJ-SDC responded to the calls of governments at different levels to support epidemic prevention work in various places. In February, BJ-SDC donated goggles to Leishenshan Hospital and Liyuan Hospital in Wuhan. In addition, council members of BJ-SDC had organized donations of epidemic prevention materials throughout the year. Moreover, BJ-SDC secretariat had held dozens of online activities focusing on culture, health and agriculture indicated in “Hanwang 7+1” action plan to provide members with rich content, as well as an exchange and study platform.
In 2021, BJ-SDC will continue to promote international exchange on sustainable development, facilitate research and development of governance models on ecological civilization community, and contribute Chinese wisdom to the construction of world ecological civilization in the context of the epidemic. Besides, to respond to the call for achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, BJ-SDC will continue to offer more support to members on theoretical learning and practice around “Hangwang 7+1” action plan.
